9. Be Prepared

"Be prepared, 'cause we're coming your way!"

hey check it out! i was able to make a picture for my Song challenge! i thought i was just going to do little songfics for this, but i've realized that i have a couple good drawing ideas for some of these songs, like this one!

so, "Be Prepared" is from The Lion King, and i remember how i always thought this was a weird one. maybe it was the hyenas? anyway, it gave me an idea to draw a picture with my two villainess OCs, Freya Erikson (from Heart and Soul) and Reyanna Nizeer (from Hearts of Darkness) together. it was pretty fun too! i was trying to go for some tribal thing, but i think it came out less African and maybe more Native American. the tattoos were lots of fun though, and so was coming up with Reyanna's oufit. i didn't have enough room for her ginormous angel wings (i'm starting to consider drawing them differently from now on) so i put those feathers on her arms and in her hair instead. i also like how i drew Freya; kinda "Come at me, bro!", huh? by the way, that's not her actual character design, i've got something different in store for her, but the hair is still orange!
