18. I Won't Say (I'm in Love) “So Sai, what are you doing for the dance?”
“Are you going to ask anybody?”
Saia Tendo sighed irritably as she pushed a few strands of her red hair out of her face. Her hazel eyes narrowed on the two girls sitting with her; a violet-eyed, glasses wearing blonde and a blue-eyed brunette. Both looked at her expectantly.
“Why would I want to go to some dance?” she groaned. “Besides, I’ve got Angela and Rhias to look after. I just can’t go to some stupid dance. Who would I go with anyway?”
Risa frowned and shot a glance towards Tea. For all the years the blonde had known Saia; she was always depriving herself of things just to take care of her family. Besides dueling and boxing, she didn’t have many hobbies, she was almost always working when she wasn’t in school, and she didn’t let herself have any fun with things at school.
The Nobody Equation: Chpater 2
The rain was coming down pretty hard. Frankly, it sounded like someone was throwing rocks against the windows and on our roof. The wind was rough too, I’m pretty sure our one of our patio chairs was taking a swan dive into the swimming pool. I could see that happen because there was a bright flash of lightning just as the end passed the diving board. Man, it was gonna suck fishing out all the stuff that’ll probably fall in there in the morning.
I was watching all of this go on from the attic, converted into a bedroom for Dana. Because of the storm, she was nervous to sleep alone so I volunteered to bunk with her for the night. I didn’t mind. It was a cozy kind of place, with fuzzy rugs and wind chimes and things. It’s funny actually; if you add a disco ball it would kind of look like a pad from the ‘70s.
“Thanks for doing this, Jacyn.” Dana whimpered.
She was sitting on the rug n
The Nobody Equation: Chapter 1
~A Kingdom Hearts fanfic~
“Ah! Damn it!”
Have you ever had one of those days where everything seems to go wrong? If so, you have my deepest sympathies, really. I feel ya. Life, Karma, God, whatever you call it, sometimes just loves to mess around with our lives. That has always been my life, for various reasons that I’m bound to go into later. But today has been one of the particular nasty ones. Hot water cutting off in the middle of my shower, the washing machine pipes rupturing, my vintage Harley Davidson Electra’s sparkplugs dying on the way to the grocery store…Anyway the list goes on and on.
Well, before I start going any further into this crazy rant, why don’t I introduce myself? Name’s Jacyn Smythe, and before you get the wrong picture, I’m a girl. I know with a name like “Jacyn” you would think I was supposed to be a guy, but it’s not the case. I guess there’s some story behind it, bu
13. Just Around the River bend Bells rang impatiently for the eager students of Duel Academy. It was the start of a new year and the students were excited to continue on their training to become the next generation of Duelists.
Students of all ages, skills, and dorms rushed in a speeding blur of red, yellow, and blue. All seemed to be heading in the same direction, much to one particular student’s enjoyment.
“They all look like one big river!”
“Oh really? What river is red, yellow, and blue?”
“Haha! The FUN kind, Hiita!”
“Who was asking you, Wynn?!”
High, high up on the rooftops of the Academy, a fifteen year old girl sat with a curious expression plastered on her face. Her intelligent hazel eyes sparkled with excitement as she watched the commotion from above. Lucky for her, she was almost completely camouflaged on the red-bricked roof. Her long, crimson hair traile
6. Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride “Surf’s up dudes!”
“Ha, no need to tell me twice, amigo!”
“L-Liam, S-Salem! Wait for me!”
“Ha! Eat my dust, guys!”
A small group of four rushed out onto the sand, clad in wetsuits and swimwear with surfboard clutched under their arms. Two girls and two boys ran as fast as they could towards the surf, kicking up clouds of sand and anything else that lay on it.
The first one to reach the water was an athletic girl with tanned skin. Her hair was cut short and that unusual shade of red that looked orange. Her board was a simple white one with a star detailed on the nose and she wore a dark green wetsuit. This was Luz Pierce, also known as “Fox” by her friends.
Not far behind her was a boy with dark skin, only slightly more tanned than Luz, with shaggy, purple-dyed hair held back in a small braid. His dark blue eyes sparkled merr

17. Friend Like Me Rhias sighed heavily, drawing the attention of her roommates in the Slifer Red dorm. Jaden, bowl of popcorn in hand, leaned over and poked the redhead’s cheek.
“Hey, Rhias, you okay?” Jaden asked cautiously. On her other side, Jesse looked at her curiously.
“Yeah, I hate to say it, but you’re more down than that one time Chazz fell of the Obelisk dorms.” The blue-haired North Academy student ignored Chazz’s protests and kept his focus on his red haired friend.
Rhias stared at the TV screen with a glazed look in her hazel eyes. The whole gang had been holed up in the Slifer dorm to watch a movie, but a few of the Duel Academy students had noticed that their resident Spellcaster duelist wasn’t totally in it.
“I think…” Rhias let loose another sigh. “I’m going to head up to the room. You don’t mind, right Blair?”
